Job Summary:
I’m looking to add a thoughtful, compassionate clinician to my practice to provide therapy to individuals in Vermont and New Hampshire. This is a contract (non-benefit) position with flexibility to work in person and/or via telehealth. Create your own schedule that works for you and let me manage all of the administrative duties!
You do not need to be independently licensed- this could be a great fit for someone working toward licensure who is seeking supervision and a supportive environment to grow their clinical skills.
A healthy work–life balance is a core value in my practice. I want this role to feel sustainable, flexible, and grounded in the same care we hope our clients experience.
If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to me directly for details or to set up a time to connect.
What you’ll do:
Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Conduct intake assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide direct support to patients through individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
Engage in crisis management and intervention strategies to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 and ICD-10), and CPT coding for accurate reporting and documentation.
Manage your own schedule to accommodate a healthy work-life balance.
Requirements:
A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred; interns welcome!
Previous experience working with children or adults in a mental health setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of behavioral health practices, including crisis intervention and behavior management techniques.
Familiarity with telehealth practices and outpatient care is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients’ needs.
Experience in clinical research or data collection related to mental health is beneficial.
